Newman passes Junior for Texas win
Ryan Newman finally parlayed one of his trademark Friday qualifying efforts into a victory Sunday in the Samsung/RadioShack 500.

Newman overtook Dale Earnhardt Jr. with 10 laps to go to become the seventh different winner at Texas Motor Speedway.

Earnhardt Jr. fought off Jeff Gordon to take second place.

Jerry Nadeau, fourth, notched his first top-five finish of the year. Mark Martin rounded out the top five. More
