Erik Jones is in his fifth full season in the NASCAR Cup Series and third driving the No. 20 for Joe Gibbs Racing. To kick off his 2020 season, Jones won the Busch Clash at Daytona International Speedway. Jones won the 2019 Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway and clinched his spot in the NASCAR Playoffs. Jones scored his first Cup win when he narrowly edged Martin Truex Jr. at Daytona in July 2018. Jones earned successive Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in all three NASCAR national divisions -- 2017 in Cup, 2016 in the Xfinity Series and 2015 in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series.
