Ty Gibbs will race full-time in the No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2023. He continued his career momentum with seven wins in 2022, claiming the Xfinity Series championship in his first full-time season. The grandson of Pro Football Hall of Fame coach and NASCAR Hall of Fame team owner Joe Gibbs, Gibbs made a statement in the 2020 ARCA Menards Series season, earning a series-leading six wins in just 16 starts. Gibbs won the ARCA Menards Series championship in 2021 while racing a partial schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
