Countdown To Daytona: 9

The number of NASCAR Sprint Cup victories recorded at Daytona International Speedway by Cale Yarborough, who won the Daytona 500 four times. The three-time Cup champion was a qualifying machine at the 2.5-mile superspeedway; he collected 12 poles at Daytona, and two of his wins in the Great American Race came from the top starting spot. Yarborough was the only driver to win three straight Cup titles (1976-1978), before Jimmie Johnson equaled the feat in 2008 and exceeded it with his fourth and fifth titles the following two seasons.
