1921: Bob Barron, who started 32 Cup races in the early 1960s, is born on this day. All but one of Barron's starts came in 1961 when he finished 29th in the standings. He posted five top-10s -- two eighth-place finishes (Richmond and Birmingham) and three ninth-place finishes (Charlotte, Myrtle Beach and South Boston).
