1983: In only his 44th start, Jack Ingram wins his 10th Nationwide Series race. Ingram leads 94 laps in the L.D. Swain 200 at three-eighths-mile Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, N.C., and finishes ahead of Tommy Ellis, the only other car on the lead lap. Butch Lindley is third, a lap down. Ingram, a two-time series champion, wins 31 times in 275 starts.
