1986: Rusty Wallace wins the Goody's 500 at Martinsville for the second Cup victory of his career. Wallace's first win came earlier in the season, in his 72nd start. Wallace doesn't wait as long for win No. 2, beating Geoffrey Bodine by two car lengths in his 91st start. Harry Gant is third, the only other car on the lead lap. It is Wallace's first of seven Cup wins at Martinsville.
