Lap 300 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Tony Stewart is 2-for-2 in the Chase as he wins at New Hampshire. Brad Keselowski is second and Greg Biffle runs out of gas but holds on to third. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a tire go down on the final lap and he loses some positions.

Lap 299 -- WHITE FLAG: Tony Stewart 1.058-miles away from two victories in a row. Brad Keselowski passes Greg Biffle for second.

Lap 298 -- Clint Bowyer runs out of fuel giving the lead to Tony Stewart.

Lap 297 -- Tony Stewart 0.7 seconds behind. Denny Hamlin runs out of fuel and is coasting on the track.

Lap 294 -- Ryan Newman will take a big points hit as he hits pit road for a tire going down.

Lap 292 -- Big recovery for Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards, who run ninth and 10th, respectively.

Lap 291 -- Solid day for Greg Biffle, who is currently third. It's been a while since the No. 16 has been in the top three.

Lap 290 -- Ten to go and it's either Clint Bowyer or Tony Stewart.

Lap 286 -- With nothing to lose, Clint Bowyer is obviously going to gamble. Denny Hamlin up to seventh but is close on fuel. They are gambling as well.

Lap 284 -- Kasey Kahne gives up third and pits for fuel and two tires.

Lap 283 -- Tony Stewart continues to put just enough pressure on Clint Bowyer. The question is, will Bowyer have enough fuel?

Lap 281 -- Damage to the No. 48 has Johnson falling through the pack, now 20th.

Lap 279 -- Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch getting a little rough with each other for 13th. Johnson gets the worst of it and falls to 17th.

Lap 277 -- Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson in a great battle for 13th.

Lap 274 -- Mark Martin gives up his top-five position and pits.

Lap 272 -- Brad Keselowski up to fifth. Tony Stewart on Clint Bowyer's bumper for the lead.

Lap 269 -- Jeff Gordon down to fifth as he tries to conserve.

Lap 265 -- Jeff Gordon being told to save fuel. The team did not get as much in the tank as they thought.

Lap 263 -- Still some laps left, but this doesn't look like the finish a lot of these Chase drivers expected with only four in the top 10.

Lap 260 -- Forty to go and Clint Bowyer, Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon are separated by 1.1 seconds.

Lap 257 -- Big shout out to Denny Hamlin, who is a comfortable ninth after being the worst Chaser in qualifying. A big comeback for the No. 11 after a disappointing race at Chicagoland.

Lap 255 -- Clint Bowyer is borderline on fuel. Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon should be fine so Bowyer won't be able to save and keep the lead.

Lap 253 -- Jeff Gordon up to third as Kasey Kahne continues to fall on slightly older tires.

Lap 252 -- Kasey Kahne now down to third as Tony Stewart passes him for second.

Lap 250 -- Clint Bowyer able to complete the pass and the No. 33 is out front.

Lap 249 -- Clint Bowyer looking inside as he looks to grab the lead from Kasey Kahne.

Lap 246 -- Kurt Busch pits giving the lead to Kasey Kahne. Joey Logano and Jimmie Johnson bumping each other as they race for 18th.

Lap 244 -- Jamie McMurray on pit road, leaving Kurt Busch as the only one yet to pit.

Lap 243 -- Kurt Busch and Jamie McMurray the only two yet to pit as they hope for a caution.

Lap 242 -- Martin Truex Jr. pits giving the lead to Kurt Busch. I believe all 12 Chase drivers have led at one point today, giving all of them the bonus point.

Lap 239 -- Jimmie Johnson pits for a wedge and air pressure adjustment. Martin Truex Jr. leads.

Lap 238 -- Kevin Harvick pits giving the lead to Jimmie Johnson. Air pressure adjustment for Harvick.

Lap 237 -- Brian Vickers and A.J. Allmendinger on pit road. Air pressure for the No. 83.

Lap 236 -- The top seven have yet to pit. Kasey Kahne in eighth will be the leader when they pit.

Lap 234 -- Matt Kenseth and Jeff Burton on pit road.

Lap 233 -- Juan Montoya peels off to pit road giving the lead to Brian Vickers. Carl Edwards and Ryan Newman also pit.

Lap 231 -- Brad Keselowski pits giving the lead to Juan Montoya. Keselowski with four tires and no changes. Kyle Busch also on pit road.

Lap 230 -- Jeff Gordon pits, givin gthe lead to Brad Keselowski. Four tires for Gordon. Gordon with a long stop as he runs out of fuel and can't get going.

Lap 229 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. with a flat tire and he will have to make a pit stop.

Lap 228 -- Tony Stewart and David Ragan on pit road.

Lap 227 -- Clint Bowyer and Greg Biffle on pit road. Air pressure adjustment for Biffle.

Lap 225 -- Mark Martin gives up his top-five position and pits. Four tires and fuel with a wedge adjustment for Martin. Denny Hamlin also on pit road.

Lap 224 -- Jeff Gordon up by 6.2 seconds.

Lap 222 -- Brian Vickers continues to find some speed as he passes Kevin Harvick for 13th.

Lap 219 -- Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin in a contentious battle for 10th.

Lap 217 -- Kasey Kahne gives up second and pits.

Lap 215 -- Brad Keselowski gets around Mark Martin for fourth.

Lap 213 -- Brian Vickers passes Jimmie Johnson for 15th.

Lap 212 -- Green-flag stops should be upcoming for a handful of drivers.

Lap 210 -- Jeff Gordon with a solid 2.3-second lead on Kasey Kahne.

Lap 206 -- Tony Stewart up to sixth and as they run right now, Stewart and Kevin Harvick are the points leaders.

Lap 204 -- Jimmie Johnson tells Chad Knaus he is "annoying" with his cheerleading and to just "let me drive."

Lap 203 -- Ryan Newman and Tony Gibson apologizing to each other for being frustrated on the radio and plan on making some adjustments on their next stop.

Lap 202 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. told by Steve Letarte they are good on one more stop.

Lap 200 -- Second-place Kasey Kahne is off pit sequence and will have to make two stops.

Lap 196 -- Clint Bowyer being told by crew chief Shane Wilson to start saving fuel as they look to make just one more stop.

Lap 195 -- Tony Stewart passes Greg Biffle for seventh.

Lap 191 -- Brad Keselowski was the worst Chase-running car until the timely caution and now he is sixth. This could be a huge points day for Kes.

Lap 189 -- Ryan Newman down to 11th as he was one who took just fuel only on his pit stop.

Lap 188 -- Six of the top 10 are non-Chase drivers.

Lap 187 -- Juan Montoya up to ninth and could be a contender late in this race.

Lap 185 -- Jimmie Johnson trying to get back up front, currently up to 16th.

Lap 183 -- Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman back in the top 10 running eighth and ninth.

Lap 181 -- Kevin Harvick down to 14th on the older tires.

Lap 180 -- Jeff Gordon has checked out while there is some great racing behind him. Paul Menard and Martin Truex Jr. make contact.

Lap 178 -- Jimmie Johnson deep in the pack after his four-tire stop. He restarts 19th.

Lap 177 -- GREEN FLAG: Jeff Gordon brings the field to the green followed by Kasey Kahne, David Ragan, Mark Martin and Greg Biffle.

Lap 176 -- In all, the top nine stayed out. Kevin Harvick will restart 10th.

Lap 175 -- Jamie McMurray too fast exiting and will serve a penalty. Jeff Gordon stays out and continues to lead.

Lap 174 -- Pit road is open. Kevin Harvick with gas only. Jimmie Johnson with four tires. Dale Earnhardt Jr. with two tires and fuel. Fuel only for Ryan Newman.

Lap 173 -- YELLOW FLA G NO. 3: Matt Kenseth spins after contact with teammate Carl Edwards and brings out the caution. J.J. Yeley gets the free pass and is back on the lead lap.

Lap 172 -- David Ragan holding his own in third as he takes advantage of a timely caution.

Lap 171 -- Jeff Gordon has opened up a 1.6-second lead on Kasey Kahne.

Lap 170 -- Juan Montoya's gamble paid off as he is now on cycle with the leaders and running 11th.

Lap 168 -- Clint Bowyer, Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch battling for eighth.

Lap 166 -- Mark Martin moves aside and lets Kevin Harvick take over fourth.

Lap 164 -- Jeff Gordon wasted no time in getting around Kasey Kahne for the lead. Kyle Busch has them four-wide a little ways back.

Lap 162 -- GREEN FLAG: Kasey Kahne brings the field to the green.

Lap 159 -- Kasey Kahne did not pit so he is the race leader, followed by Jeff Gordon, David Ragan, Mark Martin and Kevin Harvick. Twenty-one cars will take the wave-around and rejoin the lead lap.

Lap 158 -- Pit road is open. Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin and David Ragan pit. Gordon with four tires, a spring rubber and a track bar adjustment.

Lap 157 -- There are only five cars on the lead lap so most of the field will take advantage of the wave-around.

Lap 156 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: Landon Cassill spins in Turn 2 bringing out the caution. Kevin Harvick gets the free pass and is back on the lead lap.

Lap 155 -- Brad Keselowski on pit road.

Lap 154 -- Jeff Gordon leads as he has not pitted. Brad Keselowski and David Ragan also have yet to pit.

Lap 153 -- Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart on pit road. Stewart with an air pressure and chassis adjustment.

Lap 152 -- Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch on pit road. Kurt with a wedge and spring rubber adjustment.

Lap 151 -- Carl Edwards and A.J. Allmendinger on pit road.

Lap 150 -- Greg Biffle, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Ryan Newman on pit road.

Lap 149 -- Kevin Harvick gives up his top-five position to pit. Clint Bowyer also on pit road. Four tires and a track bar adjustment for Harvick. Jimmie Johnson also pits.

Lap 147 -- On fresher tires, Mark Martin is on the move. With that, Kasey Kahne gives up the lead and pits. Jeff Burton also pits.

Lap 146 -- Kasey Kahne holds a 1.7-second lead on Jeff Gordon.

Lap 143 -- Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart bumper-to-bumper for 11th.

Lap 141 -- Mark Martin on pit road after not stopping under the caution. No changes and four tires for the No. 5.

Lap 136 -- Ryan Newman and Kevin Harvick are trying to close the gap on third-place Jeff Gordon. The top five are starting to tighten up as we approach more green-flag stops.

Lap 134 -- Kasey Kahne drops to the inside in Turn 1 and passes Mark Martin for the lead.

Lap 133 -- J.J. Yeley pits. Mark Martin still out front with Kasey Kahne on his bumper.

Lap 132 -- Greg Biffle gets around Jimmie Johnson for sixth. Biffle telling Johnson on the radio either move or I'm moving you.

Lap 129 -- Juan Montoya on pit road for four tires and an air pressure adjustment.

Lap 128 -- Jimmie Johnson passes Greg Biffle for sixth.

Lap 126 -- Mark Martin is planning to pit on Lap 142.

Lap 125 -- Kurt Busch down to 22nd.

Lap 122 -- It is impressive the Mark Martin is able to keep Kasey Kahne in the rear-view despite not pitting for tires.

Lap 119 -- David Reutimann also on pit road after taking the wave-around earlier.

Lap 118 -- Jamie McMurray on pit road as one of the wave-around cars, he needed to pit.

Lap 115 -- A lot of single-file racing but Jeff Gordon up to third as he passes Ryan Newman.

Lap 113 -- Brian Vickers now down to 18th. Greg Biffle and Clint Bowyer running eighth and ninth, respectively.

Lap 111 -- There is a four-second gap between the top five and the rest of the field.

Lap 108 -- Chasers outside the top 10: Dale Earnhardt Jr. (11th), Tony Stewart (13th), Carl Edwards (16th), Matt Kenseth (18th), Kurt Busch (19th), Denny Hamlin (20th), and Brad Keselowski (24th).

Lap 106 -- Kasey Kahne has caught Mark Martin and is challenging for the lead.

Lap 104 -- Not stopping working great for Mark Martin. For Juan Montoya, not so much. The No. 42 is now down to sixth. However, he was in the 20s before the caution, so still a net gain.

Lap 101 -- Brian Vickers down to 16th after running up front early.

Lap 99 -- Things turning around a bit for Kyle Busch as he is in 10th and looks good.

Lap 97 -- Kevin Harvick challenging Jeff Gordon for fifth.

Lap 96 -- Juan Montoya down to fourth as Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman get around him.

Lap 94 -- Kurt Busch's day continues to get worse as he is now 17th.

Lap 93 -- Kasey Kahne all over Juan Montoya for second. Mark Martin already out front by a second thanks to Montoya holding people back.

Lap 92 -- Mark Martin holds the lead while it's all two- and three-wide behind him.

Lap 91 -- GREEN FLAG: Mark Martin brings the field to the green followed by Juan Montoya, Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon and Ryan Newman.

Lap 90 -- David Reutimann, J.J. Yeley and Jamie McMurray to take the wave-around and return to the lead lap.

Lap 89 -- Mark Martin and Juan Montoya stay out and Martin leads.

Lap 88 -- Pit road is open. Kevin Harvick with two tires. Jeff Gordon with two tires and a track bar adjustment. Kasey Kahne with two tires and a track bar adjustment. Ryan Newman with two tires as the top 10 all take just two tires.

Lap 86 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Debris on the track in Turn 1 brings out our first caution of the day. David Ragan gets the free pass and is back on the lead lap.

Lap 85 -- Tony Stewart takes a look inside Brian Vickers as Stewart looks to get to 10th.

Lap 83 -- Dave Blaney has an issue as smoke starts pouring from the No. 36. Blaney able to get to pit road. The track and pit road are dry so we stay green.

Lap 82 -- Brian Vickers continues to fall backwards as Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson get around him.

Lap 81 -- Jeff Gordon has closed the gap to 4.7 seconds.

Lap 80 -- Clint Bowyer gets around Brian Vickers for sixth.

Lap 78 -- Kasey Kahne about to put Marcos Ambrose and David Ragan a lap down.

Lap 76 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. having a great day early as he passes Jimmie Johnson for eighth.

Lap 73 -- Kasey Kahne has opened up a 5.2-second lead on Jeff Gordon. The top nine are within 10 seconds of the leader. Remember, laps at New Hampshire take about 30 seconds.

Lap 72 -- The current top five: Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon, Greg Biffle, Ryan Newman and Brian Vickers.

Lap 70 -- Clint Bowyer up to seventh after the green-flag stops. Denny Hamlin also a winner on pit road, now running 18th.

Lap 69 -- Great three-way battle for second between Brian Vickers, Jeff Gordon and Greg Biffle.

Lap 68 -- Ryan Newman went from second to fifth after the green-flag stops. Newman now 13 seconds behind leader Kasey Kahne.

Lap 66 -- Regan Smith pits giving the lead back to Kasey Kahne. Smith with four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment.

Lap 65 -- Regan Smith has yet to pit and is the race leader.

Lap 64 -- Jeff Gordon pits along with Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth and Brad Keselowski.

Lap 63 -- Ryan Newman pits giving the lead to Jeff Gordon. Dale Earnhardt Jr. also on pit road. Newman has an air hose issue and lost a lot of time on pit road.

Lap 62 -- Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards on pit road.

Lap 61 -- Kasey Kahne gives up the lead and pits. Brian Vickers also on pit road. Clint Bowyer pits as well. Track bar adjustment for Bowyer. A bunch of adjustments for Kahne.

Lap 60 -- David Ragan on pit road. Kasey Kahne finally gets around Ryan Newman and leads.

Lap 58 -- Landon Cassill on pit road. Paul Menard making his stop as well.

Lap 56 -- Lap traffic no longer an issue for Ryan Newman.

Lap 55 -- Jamie McMurray gets green-flag stops under way as he hits pit road.

Lap 52 -- Caution free and just one leader -- Ryan Newman.

Lap 51 -- Brian Vickers and Greg Biffle are side-by-side for fourth.

Lap 50 -- Dave Blaney was tough to put a lap down allowing Kasey Kahne and Jeff Gordon to close the gap.

Lap 49 -- Denny Hamlin up to 20th after starting 28th. J.J. Yeley is a lap down.

Lap 47 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. up to eighth as he gets around Martin Truex Jr. for eighth.

Lap 44 -- The top nine haven't changed positions in more than 20 laps. Jeff Gordon is trying to shake that up as he tries to get around Kasey Kahne for second.

Lap 42 -- There are a plethora of cars about to go a lap down and they could really slow down leader Ryan Newman.

Lap 41 -- Joe Nemechek takes the No. 87 to the garage.

Lap 40 -- Mike Bliss goes a lap down. Jeff Gordon has closed the gap on Ryan Newman and Kasey Kahne.

Lap 38 -- Kasey Kahne has caught Ryan Newman and is challenging for the lead.

Lap 37 -- Michael McDowell takes his No. 66 to the garage.

Lap 36 -- Kyle Busch down to 12th after starting eighth. He is complaining that his car is not doing anything that it was doing Saturday in practice.

Lap 35 -- David Gilliland and Joe Nemechek are a lap down.

Lap 34 -- Carl Edwards continues to climb as he is now 18th. David Stremme to the garage.

Lap 32 -- David Stremme, who paced final practice, is now a lap down.

Lap 31 -- Michael McDowell goes a lap down. Robby Gordon takes the No. 7 to the garage.

Lap 30 -- The closest racing on the track is between Dale Earnhardt Jr. Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick as they try to settle sixth through ninth.

Lap 27 -- Ryan Newman puts Andy Lally a lap down. The lap traffic has allowed Kasey Kahne to cut Newman's lead.

Lap 25 -- Juan Montoya up seven spots to 24th after starting 31st. He was the victim of rain in qualifying.

Lap 24 -- Scott Speed takes the No. 46 to the garage.

Lap 23 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton are running 10th and 12th giving Richard Childress Racing three cars in the top 12.

Lap 21 -- Casey Mears takes the No. 13 to the garage.

Lap 20 -- Josh Wise to the garage. Robby Gordon has gone a lap down.

Lap 19 -- Jimmie Johnson on the move as he is challenging Kevin Harvick for sixth. Johnson has one of the fastest cars on the track.

Lap 17 -- Tony Stewart up to 14th. Kurt Busch is not happy with the handling of his car. He says he is loose off.

Lap 15 -- Kasey Kahne is trying to close on leader Ryan Newman. Kahne trails by 0.7 seconds.

Lap 14 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. up to ninth as Kurt Busch and Kyle Busch continue to go the wrong way.

Lap 12 -- Carl Edwards up to 21st after starting 23rd. The No. 55 of Travis Kvapil is in the garage.

Lap 10 -- Seven of the top 10 are Chase drivers. Dale Earnhardt Jr. (11th), Tony Stewart (16th), Brad Keselowski (19th) are Chase drivers in the top 20.

Lap 8 -- The top 10 have found their spot on the inside of the track and are running single file.

Lap 6 -- Brian Vickers is dropping quick as he falls to fourth. Jeff Gordon up to third.

Lap 4 -- Kurt Busch has gone to the outside and is falling back a little bit. Jimmie Johnson up to seventh.

Lap 3 -- Kurt Busch makes it three wide as he looks to take sixth from Kevin Harvick.

Lap 2 -- Jeff Gordon and Greg Biffle side-by-side for fourth. There is a lot of two-wide racing early at New Hampshire.

Lap 1 -- Ryan Newman holds the lead as Brian Vickers jumps into second.

2:19 p.m. ET -- GREEN FLAG: Ryan Newman brings the field to the green and the Sylvania 300 is under way.

2:13 p.m. ET -- The cars are rolling off pit road for three warm-up laps.

2:10 p.m. ET -- Alan Barlow, senior vice president and general manager of Specialty Products, NAFTA gives the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines!"

2:05 p.m. ET -- Kurt Busch's team is running the car to the grid after it just passed inspection. Earlier today, the car did not pass inspection due to some rear end issues. Busch is not happy and would not answer questions about what was going on.

2:03 p.m. ET -- Natalie Turgeon performs the national anthem, and man, did she knock it out.

2:01 p.m. ET -- Joe Gibbs, owner of Joe Gibbs Racing, delivers the Invocation.

12:01 p.m. ET -- Six Chase drivers are starting in the top 10: Ryan Newman (first), Kurt Busch (fifth), Kevin Harvick (sixth), Jeff Gordon (seventh), Kyle Busch (eighth) and Jimmie Johnson (10th). In seven Chase races at New Hampshire, five of the winners started 10th or better with three of those won from the front row.

11:47 a.m. ET -- Are we going to actually get a race in on Sunday? I'm not trying to get too excited, but it looks like it. It's currently 73 degrees under partly cloudy skies. As the afternoon goes on, the clouds will get darker, but there is only a slight chance of rain. It looks like adjusting to the changing track conditions could be the deciding factor in the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Green set for 2:18 p.m. ET. Ryan Newman is on the pole for the sixth time in his career.
