1941: Happy 70th birthday, fan favorite Dick Trickle, who was the Cup Series' rookie of the year at age 48. Trickle, who achieved much success on short tracks outside of NASCAR, made his Cup debut in 1970 but didn't race full time in the series until '89. His last Cup start was in 2002, and he finished his Cup career winless in 303 starts. In 158 Nationwide starts, the last in 2001, Trickle won twice.
