Lap 400 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Jimmie Johnson rolls to the victory. It's his seventh at Dover, tying him with Richard Petty and Bobby Allison for most here at Dover. He's doing his post-race interview in the multi-colored wig. Yow-zeh ...

Lap 396 -- Kevin Harvick is close, but not close enough.

Lap 392 -- Jimmie Johnson has this one in hand if nothing happens.

Lap 384 -- Look at Jimmie Johnson up front, calm, cool and collected.

Lap 380 -- Twenty laps to go.

Lap 375 -- The leader is ... get this ... still Jimmie Johnson. Shocker, huh?

Lap 369 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson (who else?), Kevin Harvick, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Matt Kenseth and Clint Bowyer are the leaders when the green comes back out. Johnson's jump isn't quite as good this time, but he's still able to clear for the lead in Turns 1 and 2. Harvick is hot on his bumper.

Lap 365 -- Jeff Gordon is pitting under the caution. Ryan Nemwan, Greg Biffle and Mark Martin are also in.

Lap 363 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 7: Jeff Burton's engine has blown.

Lap 359 -- Jimmie Johnson is once again pulling out to a comfortable lead. This time, he's up 1.3 seconds on Kevin Harvick.

Lap 352 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer are the top five. Johnson is clear at the stripe.Harvick takes second with a run to the outside of Earnhardt.

Lap 350 -- Fifty laps to go. Jimmie Johnson says there's still cleaning to be done between Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 347 -- Back on the lead lap, Jeff Gordon is pitting under the caution.

Lap 345 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 6: Kurt Busch's engine has blown.

Lap 344 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Aric Almirola are the top five on the restart. Johnson and Earnhardt blow into the top-two spots on the frontstretch.

Lap 342 -- Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth very nearly make contact coming onto pit road. The rest of the leaders pit as well.

Lap 340 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: There's debris reported in Turns 3 and 4. Jeff Gordon's plans appear to be foiled.

Lap 337 -- Aric Almirola continues to run well. He's now up to fifth place.

Lap 332 -- Jimmie Johnson is having a hard time putting a lap on Jamie McMurray.

Lap 330 -- Matt Kenseth is in second place, 3.6 seconds behind leader Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 329 -- Jeff Gordon is listed in 19th place, one lap down.

Lap 324 -- Jeff Gordon is pitting, in hopes that he can cycle back into the lead without a caution. He should be able to go the rest of the way without stopping again.

Lap 321 -- Fourth-place Dale Earnhardt Jr. is 11.6 seconds behind leader Jeff Gordon.

Lap 318 -- The gap between first and second is back down to 4.2 seconds. That's not exactly door to door, but still ...

Lap 311 -- Jeff Gordon has dropped the hammer. He's more than five seconds ahead of Jimmie Johnson and 7.5 in front of third-place Matt Kenseth.

Lap 307 -- Jeff Gordon's cushion over Jimmie Johnson is about 4.6 seconds.

Lap 300 -- One hundred laps to go. The leaders after the stops are Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Brad Keselowski.

Lap 298 -- Denny Hamlin pits.

Lap 297 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. comes onto pit road.

Lap 296 -- Matt Kenseth makes his stop.

Lap 295 -- Jimmie Johnson gives up the lead to pit. Kurt Busch is also making his stop.

Lap 294 -- Joey Logano, Clint Bowyer, Aric Almirola and others are in.

Lap 293 -- Martin Truex Jr. is pitting.

Lap 292 -- Greg Biffle is on pit road.

Lap 291 -- Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski and AJ Allmendinger are pitting.

Lap 290 -- Carl Edwards has been told to pick up the speed on his car.

Lap 285 -- Jimmie Johnson is on cruise control, 3.7 seconds ahead of Matt Kenseth.

Lap 279 -- Ryan Newman is reporting a piece of debris on the track, but inspectors in the area say it's clear.

Lap 277 -- Aric Almirola is having a fairly solid day in seventh place.

Lap 272 -- Jimmie Johnson has eased out to a three-second advantage over Matt Kenseth.

Lap 270 -- Saturday's Nationwide Series winner, Joey Logano, is running in sixth place.

Lap 267 -- After his mistake entering the pits, Kevin Harvick has been moved back up to ninth place.

Lap 265 -- The top five are currently Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Mark Martin and Clint Bowyer.

Lap 258 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. isn't far from being able to make a move on Matt Kenseth for second place.

Lap 255 -- Jimmie Johnson leads Matt Kenseth by about 2.2 seconds.

Lap 252 -- Matt Kenseth is now running second, Dale Earnhardt Jr. third.

Lap 251 -- Jeff Gordon is on pit road.

Lap 249 -- Jeff Gordon says that somehing "weird" is taking place with his car. Off Turn 4, he appears to slow even more.

Lap 244 -- Jeff Gordon moves up the track in Turn 4 and lets Jimmie Johnson make the pass for the lead uncontested.

Lap 243 -- Clint Bowyer continues to slide back through the field. He's given up fourth to Dale Earnhardt Jr. and fifth to Mark Martin.

Lap 240 -- Matt Kenseth motors past Clint Bowyer for third place.

Lap 236 -- Jimmie Johnson slides under Clint Bowyer to take second place in Turn 2.

Lap 234 -- Jimmie Johnson is looking to get back under Clint Bowyer for second place.

Lap 232 -- GREEN FLAG: The leaders on the restart are Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Clint Bowyer and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Kevin Harvick starts 19th.

Gordon is clear for the lead, with Bowyer taking over second place from Johnson.

Lap 228 -- The leaders are back on pit road.

Lap 226 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: The caution is out for debris on the frontstretch. Teams will be given an extra person over the wall for the driver and windshield.

Lap 224 -- Ryan Newman is pitting. That's a little bit early for the next cycle of green-flag stops.

Lap 218 -- Jeff Gordon isn't waiting around for anybody. He's already 1.2 seconds ahead of Jimmie Johnson. It's more than five second back to third-place Kevin Harvick.

Lap 211 -- Jeff Gordon is finally able to take over the lead from Jimmie Johnson. Johnson just pulled over to allow at the end of the backstretch to allow the move to happen unchallenged.

Lap 207 -- Third-place Kevin Harvick is 2.6 seconds behind leader Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 205 -- Kyle Busch goes straight to the garage.

Lap 203 -- Smoke has begun to billow out from under Kyle Busch's car.

Lap 200 -- Jimmie Johnson is the winner of today's Nationwide Series race. No ... wait. That was yesterday. We've still got another 200 laps to go!

Lap 196 -- A visitor to the MRN booth is discussing autism right now. Thanks to all who have participated in the awareness campaign this weekend!

Lap 194 -- Jeff Gordon seems to be content riding behind teammate Jimmie Johnson. The margin between them has been stable at a few car lengths for several laps now.

Lap 192 -- Running in fifth place, Matt Kenseth is very unhappy with his race car.

Lap 188 -- Kevin Harvick makes the pass of Dale Earnhardt Jr. for third place.

Lap 185 -- Wow. Marcos Ambrose just made one heck of a save coming off Turn 2. He was wrecked ... he just didn't bend anything.

Lap 183 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is about 2.1 seconds behind leader Jimmie Johnson. He's got Kevin Harvick not far behind him.

Lap 179 -- Jeff Gordon is within 4/10ths of a second of leader Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 177 -- Hey! Good ol' Bowman Gray Stadium is getting some love on Fox's broadcast.

Lap 173 -- Kyle Busch took the restart in 19th place. That's where he's running right now.

Lap 170 -- It's a Hendrick Motorsports sweep of the top-three spots for the time being.

Lap 169 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick and Matt Kenseth are the top five. Johnson clears easily for the top spot.

Lap 168 -- Kyle Busch is back on pit road.

Lap 166 -- The leaders are on pit road. Kyle Busch will have to pit again to tighten all the lugs.

Lap 164 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Carl Edwards slaps the wall in Turn 2.

Lap 160 -- Kevin Harvick finally clears Kyle Busch in their battle for third place.

Lap 159 -- Kevin Harvick gets a nose under Kyle Busch for third place coming off Turn 4.

Lap 158 -- Kevin Harvick is fighting Kyle Busch hard for third place. Here ... hold my watch!

Lap 156 -- Jeff Gordon has closed to within about 1.5 seconds of teammate Jimmie Johnson for the lead.

Lap 153 -- Don't tell Joey Logano about D.W.'s miscue, because we all know who holds the microphone in that family, right?

Lap 150 -- Darrell Waltrip just forgot Joey Logano's name. Ooooops.

Lap 148 -- The top five is currently Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Mark Martin.

Lap 145 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is shown in eighth place. C'mon, Joooooooon-yer!!!

Lap 140 -- Jeff Gordon blasts past Kyle Busch for the runnerup position.

Lap 139 -- Kyle Busch now trails leader Jimmie Johnson by about three seconds.

Lap 136 -- Jeff Gordon dives under Kevin Harvick for third place in the treacherous Turn 2.

Lap 133 -- One thing's for sure. The cockpit of Mark Martin's car is much, much different than when he first raced here. And that's a good thing. A very, very good thing.

Lap 130 -- Kevin Harvick and Mark Martin nearly make contact coming down the backstretch as Harvick takes over third place.

Lap 127 -- Further back in the back, Ryan Newman and Brad Keselowski are having a hard time getting around Jeff Burton.

Lap 125 -- Kurt Busch has reported a piece of debris hanging off the damaged car of Regan Smith. NASCAR says he's clear.

Lap 123 -- Kevin Harvick is also on the move. He's now up to fourth place.

Lap 120 -- Kyle Busch has moved past Mark Martin for second place. He's about 7/10ths of a second behind leader Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 117 -- GREEN FLAG: The top five are Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin, Matt Kenseth, Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon. Johnson gets a great restart and is clear in Turn 1 for the lead.

Lap 113 -- The leaders are on pit road. Ryan Newman will be penalized for an uncontrolled tire.

Lap 111 -- CAUTION FLAG NO. 2: The engine in David Reutimann's car has detonated.

Lap 108 -- Don't look now, but Jeff Gordon is catching Mark Martin to challenge him for second place.

Lap 104 -- Jimmie Johnson has set sail. His lead over Mark Martin is now up to 2.3 seconds. Also, Jeff Gordon has moved around Matt Kenseth for third place.

Lap 93 -- Jimmie Johnson's lead over Mark Martin has already shot up to 1.4 seconds.

Lap 90 -- Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon get around Kyle Busch, dropping him to fifth place.

Lap 86 -- Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon -- running third, fourth and fifth -- are still very close together on the race track.

Lap 84 -- Jimmie Johnson has closed back in on Mark Martin for the lead, and he takes the spot coming off Turn 2.

Lap 81 -- Jeff Gordon is trying to figure out a way past Matt Kenseth for fourth place, just as Kenseth is looking to work his way around Kyle Busch for third.

Lap 78 -- Mark Martin leads Jimmie Johnson by about 6/10ths of a second.

Lap 74 -- After the cycle of stops, the top five is Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon.

Lap 73 -- Matt Kenseth has brought his car into its pit stall.

Lap 72 -- Leader Mark Martin is in. So are Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon.

Lap 71 -- Ryan Newman, Martin Truex Jr., Clint Bowyer and others are pitting.

Lap 70 -- Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin are pitting.

Lap 69 -- Greg Biffle is pitting.

Lap 67 -- Tony Stewart's crew is still working on his car in the garage.

Lap 64 -- Mark Martin is being given time differentials between what he and Jimmie Johnson are running. Other than that, it's pretty quiet on the radio.

Lap 60 -- The lead goes to Mark Martin. He should be pitting in about nine laps.

Lap 55 -- The gap between leader Jimmie Johnson and second-place Mark Martin is now down to about half a second.

Lap 53 -- Mark Martin has erased a couple tenths of a second off Jimmie Johnson's lead.

Lap 50 -- Fifty laps in, drivers appear to have settled into a nice groove following the grinding crash earlier.

Lap 46 -- Third-place Matt Kenseth has lost touch with Mark Martin, who is running in second place. He's now nearly two seconds back.

Lap 43 -- It's about one second from leader Jimmie Johnson back to second-place Mark Martin.

Lap 39 -- Clint Bowyer is running alone on the track in fourth place.

Lap 35 -- The top-three cars -- Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth -- are separated by about a second each. It's more than two more seconds back to fourth-place Clint Bowyer.

Lap 30 -- Jimmie Johnson goes to the outside of Mark Martin for the race lead in Turn 3.

Lap 29 -- Jimmie Johnson is closing back in on Mark Martin for the lead.

Lap 26 -- Hey, look at that. Dave Marcis finished second in Mark Martin's Cup debut here at Dover.

Lap 22 -- Mark Martin's first Cup start here at Dover came on May 16, 1982. He finished fifth in a race won by Bobby Allison.

Lap 18 -- Mark Martin has a lead of about half a second over Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 17 -- Clint Bowyer is racing Kyle Busch hard for fifth place. He takes the position coming off Turn 4.

Lap 15 -- Matt Kenseth gets a run on Ryan Newman to take third place between Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 13 -- GREEN FLAG: Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman and Kyle Busch are leaders on the restart. Johnson and Martin remain side by side until they come off Turn 4, when Martin clears for the lead.

Lap 11 -- The leaders stay on the track, but from 17th-place Brad Keselowski on back, most everyone else takes the chance to pit under the caution.

1:41 p.m. ET -- The cars are being refired. The caution is back out.

1:36 p.m. ET -- According to Fox, this accident involved more cars than any other wreck so far this season.

1:35 p.m. ET -- Work is still going on to clear the track.

1:27 p.m. ET -- Also involved in the wreck were Stephen Leicht, Dave Blaney, David Gilliland, Michael McDowell and Joe Nemechek.

1:22 p.m. ET -- The race is under the red flag.

Lap 9 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: There's a big wreck on the backstretch involving Tony Stewart, Juan Montoya, Regan Smith, Scott Speed and others. The accident began when Stewart touched Landon Cassill coming off the corner.

Lap 7 -- Mark Martin scoots under Jimmie Johnson for the lead in Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 4 -- Jimmie Johnson hasn't been able to shake Mark Martin.

Lap 2 -- Matt Kenseth grabs fourth place from Clint Bowyer between Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 1 -- GREEN FLAG: The race gets under way at 1:17 p.m. ET. Jimmie Johnson clears for the lead on the backstretch.

1:11 p.m. ET -- Pace-car driver Brett Bodine is easing the field off pit road for the start of three pace laps.

1:10 p.m. ET -- The drivers are ready to participate!

1:07 p.m. ET -- Delaware Governor Jack Markell gives the command to fire engines.

1:04 p.m. ET -- The Aerial Adventures Parachute Team jumps onto the frontstretch. It would be a dream gig to fly with the F-16s ... but jump with these guys? Uhhhhh ... no. Not so much!

1:02 p.m. ET -- Four F-16s from the 149th Fighter Wing of the Texas Air National Guard do the flyover.

1:01 p.m. ET -- Kris Allen, winner of the eighth season of "American Idol," sings the national anthem.

1 p.m. ET -- Dan Schafer, pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Heightstown, N.J., is giving the invocation.

12:56 p.m. ET -- Jimmie Johnson is wearing a brightly colored wig as part of a promotion for the upcoming movie, "Madagascar 3." Yeah ... that will get some attention!

12:53 p.m. ET -- Nice to see all the caps in honor of Dick Berggren, the legendary pit reporter and journalist who is retiring after today's race.

12:50 p.m. ET -- Ten minutes until the presentation of colors by the Army Military District of Washington Armed Forced Color Guard.

8 a.m. ET -- Mark Martin is on the pole for the third time this season. It's the 54th of his Sprint Cup career, and his first came 31 years ago at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Jimmie Johnson is second, Ryan Newman third, Clint Bowyer fourth and Matt Kenseth fifth.

Kevin Harvick, Greg Biffle, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin round out the top 10.

Josh Wise and Cole Whitt missed the cut and failed to qualify for the event.
