` -- Lap 101 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Kurt Busch takes the high line to make the pass for the lead. He scores the victory as Austin Dillon spins and crashes hard behind him. Johanna Long and Kyle Busch are also involved.

Lap 100 -- GREEN FLAG: Justin Allgaier, Austin Dillon, Sam Hornish Jr., Kurt Busch and Michael Annett are the leaders. Busch tries to go for the lead, but gets shuffled to the middle lane. Joey Logano comes out of the fray with the lead.

Lap 97 -- The race will end with at least one green-white-checkered attempt. At least one.

Lap 96 -- YELLOW FLAG; The race's sixth caution is out for debris.

Lap 95 -- Five laps to go. Justin Allgaier and Sam Hornish Jr. are coming after leaders Austin Dillon and Kurt Busch. They pull alongside on the backstretch. Throw a blanket over the top eight cars.

Lap 93 -- Austin Dillon is the leader, with Kurt Busch pushing him hard.

Lap 92 -- Kurt Busch is pushing Austin Dillon toward the front.

Lap 91 -- Michael Annett has help from the lapped car of Kyle Busch, and he's currently in fifth place.

Lap 90 -- Ten laps to go. Austin Dillon and and Kurt Busch are trying for the lead.

Lap 89 -- Sam Hornish Jr. and Kurt Busch go to the outside on the backstretch to challenge for the lead. They finish the lap side by side with Elliott Sadler and Joey Logano.

Lap 88 -- GREEN FLAG: Elliott Sadler, Joey Logano, Sam Hornish Jr., Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Justin Allgaier are the leaders. Take a deep breath. This is going to get crazy! Sadler jumps to the inside, where he picks up help from Logano. They're clear for the lead on the backstretch, with Hornish and Busch behind them.

Lap 85 -- Interesting in-car camera footage of Danica Patrick in the accident. After impacting the wall, the steering wheel was dislodged and almost touching the ceiling of her car.

Lap 83 -- The accident was triggered when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. nudged Jeffrey Earnhardt into a spin. After climbing from his car, Earnhardt ... uhhhhhhh, well ... expresses his displeasure with Stenhouse as he passes by on the track.

Lap 82 -- YELLOW FLAG: Danica Patrick, Jeffrey Earnhardt and others are involved in another multicar crash on the backstretch.

Lap 81 -- GREEN FLAG: The top five are Kurt Busch, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Justin Allgiaer, Elliott Sadler and Austin Dillon. Bobby Santos has gone off the track, but there's no caution. Elliott Sadler grabs the lead with help from Joey Logano.

Lap 78 -- Let's see. Dark horse? How about Mike Bliss in seventh, Timmy Hill in eighth or Jeffrey Earnhardt in 10th. Maybe best of all, Eric McClure is currently in 11th. McClure is making his first restrictor-plate start since a wicked crash at Talladega two months ago.

Lap 76 -- YELLOW FLAG: Brad Sweet spins out of fourth place when he's bumped from behind by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. off Turn 4. It's the fourth caution of the event.

Lap 75 -- Austin Dillon and Kurt Busch takes the lead between Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 74 -- Danica Patrick is in third place, but she has NO help. She drops back through the field in an attempt to find some.

Lap 73 -- Joey Logano goes to the top of the leaderboard with help from Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 72 -- GREEN FLAG: On the restart, the top-five drivers are Justin Allgaier, Danica Patrick, Austin Dillon, Joey Logano and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Patrick moves to the middle on the backstretch, then to the inside off Turn 4. She's got help from Dillon.

Lap 71 -- With so many contenders sustaining damage in the accident, the winner of this race might just be a dark horse. Let's go, Jason Bowles!

Lap 68 -- The leaders are on pit road.

Lap 67 -- As the accident was unfolding just behind them, Justin Allgaier and Danica Patrick were able to squeeze into the lead.

Lap 65 -- YELLOW FLAG: The Big One. Involved between Turns 1 and 2 are Mike Wallace, Kevin Harvick, Joe Nemechek, Casey Roderick, Elliott Sadler, Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, Clint Bowyer, Danny Efland, Johanna Long, Kurt Busch, John Wes Townley, James Buescher, Cole Whitt and others.

Lap 64 -- Mike Wallace has pushed Kevin Harvick to the head of the class.

Lap 62 -- James Buescher is now in the lead, with help from Brad Keselowski.

Lap 59 -- Holy cow. Bobby Santos is now in fifth place.

Lap 58 -- Mike Wallace was first ... and now he's not. Danica Patrick and Cole Whitt are now at the front of the pack. Could. This. Be. The. Night?

Lap 56 -- Danica Patrick is showing the way for the time being.

Lap 53 -- Jeffrey Earnhardt is listed in fifth place. If he takes the lead, call the race official!

Lap 50 -- The race has already reached the halfway point.

Lap 49 -- Joey Logano and Elliott Sadler burrow their way into the lead, with Kevin Harvick and ... well ... somebody else right behind them.

Lap 48 -- Danica Patrick gets left in the draft by Kevin Harvick, who drops dramatically back through the field.

Lap 47 -- Danica Patrick is now being helped around the track by Kevin Harvick, and they're challenging for the point.

Lap 46 -- GREEN FLAG: The leaders on the restart are Danica Patrick, Kurt Busch, Joey Logano, Austin Dillon and Kevin Harvick. Kyle Busch is 28th. Patrick has help from Logano, Busch from Dillon. Ricky Stenhouse Jr., however, pushes Joe Nemechek into the lead off Turn 4.

Lap 43 -- Kyle Busch is back on pit road. He stops in his pit stall and tops off on fuel.

Lap 42 -- The leaders are on pit road. Danica Patrick's team bolts on just two tires, while most everyone else takes four. Kyle Busch has a tire get away from his crew. He'll have to serve a penalty.

Lap 41 -- YELLOW FLAG: Mike Wallace spins off Turn 2 to bring out the race's second caution.

Lap 38 -- Elliott Sadler makes a huge run for the lead, but he has no help in the middle of the field and has to give way to the Busch brothers.

Lap 37 -- Austin Dillon, after starting from the rear of the field, has made his way up to 11th place with help from Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 35 -- Joe Nemechek and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. are hanging on to the tandem of Kyle and Kurt Busch.

Lap 34 -- The Busches -- this time Kyle and then Kurt -- charge back into the lead.

Lap 32 -- Joe!!! Joe Nemechek gets pushed to the lead on the fronstretch by Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Lap 31 -- Mike Wallace and Kevin Harvick charge into the lead as Kurt and Kyle Busch swap places in the draft.

Lap 28 -- Brad Keselowski backs off Danica Patrick's rear bumper, hoping to get some air to his radiator.

Lap 27 -- Joe Nemechek and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. are the third tandem on the track.

Lap 25 -- Danica Patrick and Brad Keselowski have closed back in on leaders Kurt and Kyle Busch.

Lap 24 -- Go Joe! Joe Nemechek and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. have joined the fray in the lead pack. They appeared to have a head of steam for the lead, but back out without making a serious challenge.

Lap 23 -- Kurt and Kyle Busch go to the outside on the backstretch to grab the lead from Danica Patrick and Brad Keselowski.

Lap 22 -- For the first time, there's some separation up front. Danica Patrick and Brad Keselowski are up front, followed by Kurt and Kyle Busch.

Lap 21 -- Danica Patrick is still showing the way up front.

Lap 20 -- Don't blink or you're going to miss something important!

Lap 18 -- Danica Patrick takes the lead with help from Brad Keselowski.

Lap 17 -- There's now a three-car tandem at the front of the field including Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch and Danica Patrick.

Lap 16 -- Mike Wallace now has help from Joey Logano, but his try for the top spot is thwarted off Turn 4 by a run through the middle by Kurt and Kyle Busch.

Lap 15 -- Joey Logano ducks to the outside going into Turn 1 for the lead. There's a huge four-wide scramble off Turn 4.

Lap 13 -- Kurt Busch has help from brother Kyle, and they're facing a challenge to the outside of the backstretch. By the time they get back to the starter's stand, they're well back in the top 10.

Lap 12 -- GREEN FLAG: Sam Hornish Jr and Brad Keselowski are the leaders on the restart. Hornish immediately jumps to the inside to pick up help from Keselowski.

Lap 8 -- The leaders hit pit road under caution. They're topping off their fuel supplies.

Lap 7 -- YELLOW FLAG: The event's first caution is out for Brian Scott's car, which has stalled on the apron of the race track.

Lap 7 -- Brian Scott's car is well off the pace on the backstretch.

Lap 6 -- Elliott Sadler and Joey Logano go back to the front.

Lap 5 -- Kyle Busch tries shoving Kurt Busch through traffic on the backstretch, and it doesn't work. Meanwhile, Elliott Sadler and Joey Logano swap places and lose the point between Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 4 -- Joey Logano and Elliott Sadler take over the top two spots between Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 3 -- Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. fall back into the pack, with Joey Logano and Elliott Sadler taking over the second tandem.

Lap 2 -- Danica Patrick is shoving Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and they're running third and fourth on the leaderboard.

Lap 1 -- GREEN FLAG: The race - which will consist of 100 laps -- gets under way at 7:51 p.m. ET. Here we go! The front two rows separate into the familiar two-car tandems. Kevin Harvick pushes Cole Whitt into the lead on the backstretch.

7:48 p.m. ET -- Going green the next time by the starter's stand!

7:43 p.m. ET -- Cars are on the track for the start of the pace laps.

7:39 p.m. ET -- Col. Gregory D. Gadson -- director of the U.S. Army Wounded Warrior Program, a Purple Heart recipient and star of the movie "Battleship" -- gives the command to fire engines on behalf of Subway. Yes, sir!

7:34 p.m. ET -- Two F-5s from the VFC-111 Sun Downers at Naval Air Station Key West do the traditional pre-race fly-over. Yeah, that would do. Sign me up for a hop in one of those suckers!

7:32 p.m. ET -- Paty Cantu, a singer, songwriter and Mexican pop star, signs the national anthem.

7:31 p.m. ET -- After the colors are presented by the Mainland High School Air Force ROTC, First Baptist Church of South Daytona Pastor Ronnie Barton gives the invocation.

7:26 p.m. ET -- Five minutes until the start of the invocation and national anthem.

6:40 p.m. ET -- Austin Dillon's Richard Childress Racing team has been penalized for the second time in as many races after his qualifying time was disallowed here at Daytona. Dillon, who had the best speed during time trials Friday afternoon, was moved to 42nd in the 43-car starting field after inspectors discovered an open cooling hose under the cockpit of Dillon's car.

That puts Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on the pole. After him come Cole Whitt, Danica Patrick, Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch in the top five. Brad Keselowski, Mike Wallace, Joey Logano, Brian Scott and Bobby Santos round out the top 10.

11:15 a.m. ET -- Qualifying is set to begin at 2:05 p.m. ET, two laps for all positions. Brad Keselowski was fastest of the 15 drivers who participated in Thursday's final practice session.
