1975: Buddy Baker wheels a Bud Moore-owned Ford to a convincing victory in the season-ending Los Angeles Times 500 at Ontario (Calif.) Motor Speedway. Baker, who started second, led 148 of 200 laps on the 2.5-mile rectangular track and wound up a whopping 29.4 seconds ahead of pole-starter and runner-up David Pearson. Dave Marcis, Cale Yarborough and Bobby Allison rounded out the top five.
