BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- The NASCAR Foundation's chairwoman, Betty Jane France, is also well-known for her interior design expertise. Starting Saturday, that expertise and some resulting inspiration will be evident, via a special role in the ongoing restoration of the historic Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Design House International, the City of Beverly Hills and Friends of Greystone are teaming up with the country's most acclaimed interior designers and their special high-profile clients in a "first-of-its-kind" event: The Titans of Business and Best of Design Showcase House at the Greystone Mansion, open for viewing Nov. 2-24. Marc Thee and his team of designers at Florida-based Marc-Michaels Interior Design Inc. are responsible for designing the mansion's master bedroom suite as part of this collaboration; France, a client of Thee, is serving as Marc-Michaels' designated “Titan” and inspiration for the master suite design. The design choices will reflect France's individual style and tastes.

In addition, central to the suite design will be a displaying of the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award crystal trophy. The third-annual award will be presented on Dec. 6 during the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards at Wynn Las Vegas. The award is given annually to a NASCAR fan who embodies the ideals of charity and community that Betty Jane France has championed throughout her life. There currently are five four finalists; to vote for one of the finalists visit

Visitors to the Showcase House will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience various business leaders' taste in home design. This event helps to support the ongoing restoration of this landmark estate, while creating awareness of Greystone's important history. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the Friends of Greystone ongoing restoration fund.
