Trio of Sprint Cup Series drivers crash into human-sized bowling pins

Before Joey Logano was involved in a multi-car wreck during Daytona 500 practice on Wednesday, he gave fans a preview of what was to come at a Charlotte Checkers game in January.

Wait, what?

Logano and fellow Sprint Cup Series stars Clint Bowyer and Ryan Newman recently took in a game between the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes and the Oklahoma City Barons (Edmonton Oilers), headlining the local team's "Race Night."

To celebrate, the drivers participated in "human bowling," where they were projected by an enormous slingshot, zoomed across the ice and crashed into some of the biggest bowling pins you'll ever see.

Needless to say, it gives a whole new meaning to "checkers or wreckers."

Watch the video below to see which driver took down the most pins.
