Driver of the No. 29 U.S. Cellular Toyota races toy cars on model race track

DES MOINES, Iowa -- NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace met with fans at the Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines on Wednesday in advance of his fourth NASCAR Nationwide Series start of the season, Saturday’s U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway.

Wallace, whose best finish in a NASCAR national series this year came at Iowa Speedway when he placed 13th in June’s DuPont Pioneer 250, raced against residents using remote controlled cars on a custom-built race track.

“I’m excited to join U.S. Cellular this summer to give back to the great people of Iowa and am looking forward to meeting and having fun with racing fans,” Wallace said. “If there’s one thing I stand for, it’s loyalty and U.S. Cellular certainly understands the value of rewarding customer loyalty.”
