Sprint Cup Series star helps marry couple in his hometown

Going to the chapel and we’re going to get married … by Kyle Busch?

For one couple at the Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas on Tuesday, it was none other than "Rowdy" himself who married the couple. Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Dezarov who were married in a ceremony co-officiated by Busch.

Having Busch co-officiate a wedding ceremony was part of a contest sponsored by Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Couples had to complete an online form saying why they should be chosen to be married by Busch in his hometown.

Busch has been busy since Preseason Thunder testing ended last week at Daytona International Speedway.

On Sunday, he took in the Denver Broncos’ 26-16 victory over the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Busch's favorite team, the Broncos, will play in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, Feb. 2.

The driver also sold two cars this weekend at the Barrett Jackson Collector-Car event in Scottsdale, Ariz. His 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 went for $55,000 and his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe went for $40,150.

His wife, Samantha Busch, was sad to see the Camaro go.
