Late-race scrapping between Team Penske's Brad Keselowski and Joe Gibbs Racing's Matt Kenseth in Saturday night's Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway continued a few days after the incident, as the pair of former champions brought their beef stew to the social media dinner table by exchanging jabs on Twitter on Monday.

It all started when the official Joe Gibbs Racing handle tweeted out a picture of Kenseth's No. 20 Toyota Camry, showing the damage it received when Keselowski's car collided with the left rear bumper.

Keselowski, who rarely is not tuned in on Twitter, saw the tweet and responded, referring to a major crash in practice for the Daytona 500 that Kenseth was involved in after contact with Penske teammate Joey Logano.

Kenseth then chimed in, not necessarily responding to the tension between Keselowski and the JGR handle, but adding fuel to the fire in a different way.

Keselowski later replied to a fan who mentioned that he lost some respect for the 2012 Sprint Cup Series champion, saying that he didn't see Kenseth's tactic as 'hard racing'.

Now, it's possible Keselowski and Kenseth won't run near each other at all on Sunday at Talladega, but the Twitter sparring definitely adds an extra element to what is sure to be a thrilling weekend.
