Earnhardt does the honors himself with JRM drivers on deck

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge landed squarely in Junior Nation at Michigan International Speedway with Dale Earnhardt Jr. accepting the challenge on Friday. His spotter, T.J. Majors, threw down the gauntlet to Earnhardt's girlfriend, Amy Reimann, and she delivered a dare of her own to another member of the Earnhardt clan.

Earnhardt himself poured the ice bucket over Reimann, who was dressed for the occasion in a tuxedo shirt. She, in turn, challenged her boyfriend's sister, Kelley Earnhardt Miller.

Miller, the general manager of JR Motorsports, took a bucket and then a plunge into a pool but not before she challenged JRM drivers Josh Berry, Chase Elliott and Regan Smith.

See the drama play out below on Twitter and Instagram and stay tuned as the forecast around the JRM shop calls for ice storms.

On Wednesday, technically longer than the suggested 24-hour window, Smith accepted his boss' challenge and nominated her husband, NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour champion L.W. Miller, crew chief Ryan Pemberton and Eric Bass, bassist for Shinedown, to take the challenge. See below.
