Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been a tremendous presence on social media since he joined a decade ago after one of the biggest wins of his career. 

Here's what we've learned about the NASCAR Hall of Famer via his online presence since.

SHOP: Gear up for the Daytona 500

Feb. 24, 2014 was a monumental day in NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt Jr. won his second Daytona 500 after a long, long rain delay. But more importantly, he finally posted his first tweet. Since then, Dale has become the de facto king of motorsports social media. He's equal parts informative, engaging, and hilarious. Here are just a few things we have learned about Dale from his social media accounts.

Dale will not let a problem sit unsolved. He will tackle said problem and resolve said problem. Like the time he rescued his entire neighborhood from a harrowing internet outage. Why? Because he's a good dude. Or an auction was about to end on an eBay item he wanted.

Posts like these will put a lump in the throat of even the most stoic of race fans. This was after the aforementioned 2014 Daytona 500 win. He was having an amazing moment with his father, but he was kind enough to share the moment with us.

You're sitting there laughing acting as if you don't love this song, too. If Dale says it's the anthem, then it's the anthem.

Y'all ask him some weird questions. But it's good to know Dale would not resort to self-harm to win a championship. When it comes to that, he would accept defeat. That wasn't a pun, I promise.

One persistent theme through his posts is his unwavering love for his wife Amy. He knows he's a lucky guy. Another reason to love the hell out of this guy.

The time he ate his pregnant wife's gelato then fled to South Korea to cover the Winter Olympics was one of our favorites. All things considered, probably better he was out of the country for a couple weeks.

And then he shared them with us. All I'm saying is I wasn't afraid about the International Space Station falling right on top of me until Dale Jr. mentioned it. Now I carry an umbrella. Thanks a lot, Dale. I live in fear.

But like, not viciously. He'll do it in his signature, laid back way. It's much more effective, in a "Oh-sh*t-I-didn't-know-he'd-quote-tweet-that-oh-no-I-now-must-delete" sort of way (pictured). You got dunked on, tweet-deleting man. Take the L.

It has been awesome watching Dale Jr. turn into the loving, doting dad he's become. It's equally awesome that he shares moments like this with us. Social media can be negative, so warm moments like this that cleanse our timeline are always welcome.

Parenthood is a non-stop learning process, and keeping the four-letter words at bay around young, impressionable minds is one of its biggest challenges. Their first words may have been "giant-ass” -- we'll never know.

Just like all of us! Heck yeah -- gettin' things done! If it's in that order, he drank a bunch of beer and then fixed a door latch, met a guy about a countertop and took out the trash. This man is an unstoppable physical specimen.

Maybe a little too much. The irony is that Dale Jr. co-owns a company that sells filters.

Maybe not enough to remember that he promised them a ride to the race track on his plane, but enough to tweet it out so someone else does. This is like the plot of "Home Alone," by the way. NEWMAN!

He frequently shares memories, facts and images from NASCAR's past, and boy are they fascinating. Some are from the Earnhardt family, while some are about other drivers. We're lucky he has such an extensive archive and shares it with us. Historian Dale is one of our favorite Dales.

Someone who spent years as an incredible driver seems equally determined to spend his retirement years as an incredible passenger. Fascinating.

Yeah, you'll never guess who was Grand Marshal for the race.

IF ANYONE ELSE tweets this, it gets a few "Uh, no" replies. Dale Jr. tweets this and suddenly there's a traffic jam on the way to the supermarket. POWER. THIS IS POWER.

Every year on Dale Earnhardt's birthday, Dale Jr. shares an image or a remembrance and we're all immeasurably grateful he does. All of us honor the birthday of the biggest badass that ever drove a race car in our own little way. We're sad he's no longer with us, but damn glad we knew him.
