The 2018 season is behind us, which means it's time to clear out the iPhone camera roll. It's a random mix of pictures, memes, screen grabs, and random images for which we cannot remember the context. But before we finally delete them, we're gonna share them with you. It's a great way to informally look back at 2018. Let's reminisce, shall we?

This is from the All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May. My wife took a really good picture of me on the roof.

When news breaks, you gotta be ready with a quality meme. This one references a film that was popular about a decade before William Byron was born. That's why it failed with such aplomb.

Ah, who can forget the memorable last lap at Chicagoland?

The 2018 Brickyard 400. Paige and Scarlett's beaming smiles are the most graceful way possible to say "No way in hell are we doing that."

Eldora. That Noah Gragson drip.

This screen-grab of Jeff Burton from the NASCAR on NBC Mid-Ohio live viewing party is the perfect meme. It is Jeff pondering the mysteries of our cosmos. Or licking his glasses clean after accidentally placing them in the queso? I'm not sure.

OH, sunburnt man from Watkins Glen. BOY did he have a year. Currently burning “MPD” onto his back probably.

Back when Big 3 mania was at full tilt. Envisioning a way to give stickers to other drivers. This take sure as hell went as cold as Walt Disney.

Jimmie Johnson as David Caruso. "My year has had some highs, and ... (puts on sunglasses) ... some Lowe's."

Team Penske's own optical scanning station. But upon first glance, it looks like Roger Penske's personal EDM tent.

Heel move of the year! Such a multi-purpose image. Like, if your kid is all mad because he wanted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy and you bought him the knockoff Young Altered Jiu-Jitsu Tortoise, text him this. Life's hard, deal with it.

Chicagoland. This is the look I usually get from drivers. The "Who let you in here?" look. I've collected quite the many.

Bubba off course at Sonoma. This is what it looks like when a race car sneezes.

The JR Motorsports 2018 driver lineup. Will look a lot different next year I guess.

Based on his Twitter and Instagram feed this year, it still remains a deep mystery as to whether or not Matt DiBenedetto works out.

At this year's banquet in Las Vegas, I was able to catch Jeff Gordon trying to sneak in. I saw it. Cole Pearn saw it. Sorry -- invitation only. GO BACK TO BURNING MAN.

I forget who posted this image initially, but great fortune to you. Not every driver also makes the sound when describing his car's handling.

This sign at JR Motorsports allows us to narrow down the exact time Isla Rose was born.

I THINK I was trying to demonstrate why fixing Miles the Monster's jacked up teeth wouldn't improve anything.

Just trying to provide validity to my theory that Carl Edwards is now Amish.

Danica and Aaron -- American Gothic.

Joey Logano getting prepped to train an attack dog and/or leaving the track after the fall Martinsville race.

I nearly forgot about allergic-reaction Ty Dillon. Dude looks like the "expressionless face" emoji.

Fontana. The look Ice Cube gives when he's wondering just what the hell he's gotten himself into.

Wassup, Ryan Truex.

This image has been sitting in my photo roll for years. One of these days I'll finally pitch it to the networks, take an executive producer credit, get filthy rich, and retire.

Whoever took this picture of Dillon's tattoo deserves the Nobel Prize in zooming way in.

OH yeah, the finest moment from the Bubba Wallace Facebook series.

Dale Jr. on the Super Bowl pregame looking like Dark Helmet from "Spaceballs."

I know not where this image came from. All I know is bless they who placed it upon the internet.

Erik Jones is the perfect spokesperson for Sport Clips because he is a living, breathing "Before" picture.

Victory Lane at Chicagoland. Party in the back.

I believe this was someone's drivers' meeting picture. Always zoom in on those. You learn things. Such as Kyle Larson's apparent lack of hygiene.

Brickyard 400. Forever and always, doing it for the ‘Gram.

I spent a lot of time and effort on this custom V-neck shirt for Kasey Kahne, which I know deep down he really appreciates. Farewell, dreamboat.

Kurt Busch winning at Bristol and looking like Kramer.

Last but not least ... absolutely, 100 percent no idea what this is whatsoever. But I bet it was good. Probably got a bunch of likes. I dunno.
