Chapter 3: Chasing a clock and a crown at Martinsville Speedway
The third and final round of the 2023 Virginia Late Model Triple Crown was held Sunday, Sept. 24 at Martinsville Speedway as more than 80 drivers attempted to qualifying for the ValleyStar Credit Union 300. By the time the night was over, there were a few hurt feelings, bent fenders and one underdog who got to kiss a clock.
