Catch up on the latest driver and crew chief movements
• Jeff Burton will compete for Michael Waltrip Racing in six-to-eight races in 2014. He'll drive the No. 66 Toyota. Michael Waltrip will drive the No. 66 in the Daytona 500 and the May race at Talladega. MWR also has a partnership with Jay Robinson Racing to allow the No. 66 to run in all NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events. Joe Nemechek will be the primary driver of the No. 66 for those races.
• Josh Wise will drive the No. 98 for Phil Parsons Racing in 2014. The team will also switch its manufacturer from Ford to Chevrolet. Phil Parsons Racing entered 33 of 36 Sprint Cup Series race last year.
• Bobby Labonte will drive for Phoenix Racing in the Daytona 500 and additional races for a second Phoenix Racing team, whose number will be announced at a later date.
• Dave Blaney will drive the No. 77 Ford for team owner Randy Humphrey and will work with crew chief Peter Sospenzo, according to a FOXSports.com report.
• Eric McClure will drive the No. 35 Ford Fusion for Front Row Motorsports in the Daytona 500. The car will carry the support of Hefty/Reynolds Wrap.|
• J.J. Yeley will drive the No. 44 Chevrolet for Xxxtreme Motorsport and compete full-time for the team starting in Las Vegas on March 9 with Walter Giles serving as the crew chief.
