The visit will continue the president's tradition of honoring athletes and sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities. The event will be held at 2:45 p.m. ET and will be streamed live by the White House website.

Harvick most recently visited the White House in 2012 when President Obama welcomed the participants in the 2011 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

Four-time premier series champ Jeff Gordon and his family met the president at the White House Easter Egg Roll earlier this month.
