STAGE 1
A fierce battle for the lead and Stage 1 win emerged between Brad Keselowski and Dale Earnhardt Jr. with five laps to go in the opening stage of Saturday's Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Keselowski's No. 2 ultimately prevailed, winning Stage 1 after leading 33 laps in his Team Penske Ford.
This marks Keselowski's third stage win of 2017, and he'll earn one playoff point in addition to his 10 race points.
Pole-sitter Earnhardt Jr. finished Stage 1 second in his No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, while Ryan Blaney came up third in his No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford. Clint Bowyer and Joey Logano rounded out the top five in Stage 1.
Stage 1 saw three cautions and eight lead changes, with four leaders (Keselowski, Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott).
