Bowyer’s No. 14, Jones’ No. 77 missing a lug nut each at Dover

The Stewart-Haas Racing No. 14 Ford driven to a sixth-place finish by Clint Bowyer and the 12th-place Furniture Row Racing No. 77 Toyota of rookie Erik Jones each had one unsecured lug nut in a post-race check. Under the rules set forth in the 2017 NASCAR deterrence system, the suggested guidelines for such an infraction is a $10,000 fine. Any penalties from NASCAR's competition department will be announced later in the week.
