Ryan Sieg finishes 12th at Dover International Speedway

Ryan Sieg finished 12th in the Drydene 200 at Dover International Speedway on Saturday. Sieg's result added 26 points to his season total. Sieg now sits at No. 11 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series standings with 488 points. Sieg started in ninth position. The eighth-year driver has earned eight top-five and 28 top-10 finishes in his career. Over the course of his career at Dover International Speedway, Sieg has started 12 races, completed all of them, and compiled one top-10 finish. The Tucker, Georgia native's starting and finishing positions compared favorably to his career averages, starting 10 spots higher than his career mark of 18.9 and completing the race seven places ahead of his 18.7 career average finish. Sieg battled against a field of 36 drivers on the way to his 12th-place finish. The race endured six cautions and 27 caution laps. Prior to the checkered flag there were six lead changes. Justin Allgaier earned the win in the race, and Austin Cindric followed in second. Ross Chastain placed third, Noah Gragson brought home fourth, and Harrison Burton rounded out the top five.
