Kevin Harvick to appear on ‘Stacking Pennies’

A week after announcing he will step away from full-time Cup Series racing following the 2023 season, Kevin Harvick will appear on a can't-miss episode of the "Stacking Pennies" podcast with Corey LaJoie. The 23-year veteran will reflect on his entire career dating back to his first seasons in the Craftsman Truck Series before replacing Dale Earnhardt at Richard Childress Racing. Through his lengthy tenure, the 2014 Cup champion will look back on some of the notable conflicts he's had with drivers, his thought process for those instances and what he would think of them now. With Harvick shifting into a full-time parent role after the 2023 season, he will discuss how he goes about coaching Keelan and trying to find the balance between being a parent versus being a mentor. "It's to the point where I need some flexibility to spend more time with my kids," Harvick said on the podcast. "To be able to watch Keelan race more, to watch Piper (Harvick's daughter) decide what she wants to do and how she grows up. ... I'm fortunate to be able to have accomplished a lot in the sport. I feel really comfortable with where I'm at and there's just other things I want to do." The episode is set to release on Wednesday.
