KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Layne Riggs’ No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford was disqualified from his second-place finish in Saturday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race following post-race inspection. Despite a thrilling battle with Carson Hocevar for the apparent race win, Riggs’ truck was ruled to have violated Section 14.4.9.A in the NASCAR Rule Book, which refers to the bed cover of the vehicle. There were no other issues in post-race inspection, affirming Hocevar as the race winner.
