Goodyear is set to bring a tested tire setup for the third race of The Chase presented by Mobil 1 on Saturday night when the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Bristol Motor Speedway (7:30 p.m. ET, USA Network, HBO Max, PRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). Cup Series teams will utilize the same left- and right-side tire combination from the Thunder Valley spring race earlier this year. RELATED: Bristol weekend schedule “Bristol Motor Speedway's high-banked concrete surface is demanding and continually evolves as rubber is laid down over 500 laps,” said Rick Heinrich, Goodyear NASCAR product manager. “The Goodyear Racing Eagles we have selected for this weekend are designed to effectively rubber in the racing surface, creating multiple racing grooves. Teams already have experience with this combination from the spring race.” O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and Craftsman Truck Series teams will also have a familiar tire setup for their respective events at the high-banked 0.533-mile Tennessee short track. This setup for Friday night's O'Reilly Series Chase race (7:30 p.m. ET, The CW, ESPN Unlimited, PRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) was previously used earlier this season at Pocono, Indianapolis and Iowa, with the left-side tire being used five additional times, including the Bristol spring race. For Thursday night's Truck Series Chase opener (8 p.m. ET, FS1, NRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) at "The Last Great Colosseum," the left-side tire was used four times earlier this year, while the right-side tire will make its first appearance.
