Blaney wrecks late after contact with Hocevar at Bristol

After leading 202 laps Saturday night in the NASCAR Cup Series Chase race at Bristol Motor Speedway, Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney crashed with 43 laps remaining in the Bass Pro Shops Night Race. Entering Turn 1, Blaney spun after making contact with Spire Motorsports' Carson Hocevar, sending the No. 12 Ford hard into the outside wall. Blaney entered the night fourth in the Cup Series standings, 33 points back before retiring from the 500-lap event.
