The Grant Park 220 marks the very first street course race in the 75 year history of NASCAR. With help from the team at iRacing, NASCAR has designed a 2 mile course weaving through the Grant Park area of Chicago. The track features 12 turns, with the front straight passing right by scenic Lake Michigan on Lake Shore Drive. The weekend will also feature a music festival Saturday and Sunday, with performances from The Chainsmokers and Miranda Lambert. The Grant Park 200 will require 100 laps to complete, which equivalents to 220 miles.
