Weekend Schedule

Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400  NASCAR Cup Series event marks the 118th race hosted by Atlanta Motor Speedway in the series’ history. The 1.54-mile D-shaped oval racetrack featured an all new racing surface in 2022,  with 28 degrees of banking in the turns and 5 degrees on the straightaway. The new design, combined with the rules package from NASCAR, creates racing that is similar to what is seen at Daytona and Talladega. When the track first opened in 1960, the Cup Series held its inaugural race with Fireball Roberts as the winner.
