1987

Dale Earnhardt's 'pass in the grass' earned him the All-Star Race win in one of the most historic races in NASCAR history.

1989

Rusty Wallace and Darrell Waltrip created some fireworks during a spat the pair got tangled up in. 'I hope he chokes on the $200,000,' Waltrip said, referring to the winner's share at the time.

1992

In the first All-Star event under lights, Davey Allison was knocked out during a wreck at the checkered. Allison had to be taken to the hospital via helicopter, but was ranked the winner.

2000

Dale Earnhardt Jr. made history after becoming the first rookie to win the event. And to top it all off his dad, who finished third that day, came over to Victory Lane to give him a congratulatory hug.

2007

The '07 race ended with the Busch brothers feuding. Kurt was second when Kyle attempted a pass low, but his car bobbled up into Kurt's and spun sideways. Kyle's entry turned, too, and the two were out of the race with wrecked cars. Kevin Harvick ended up winning the race.

Kasey Kahne won at Charlotte after making it into the race as the Sprint Fan Vote winner.

Jimmie Johnson's four All-Star wins has helped Hendrick Motorsports become the winningest organization in the race's history with a total of eight wins.

'Six-Time' surpassed Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon after his '13 victory made him the winningest driver in All-Star history with four wins.

Josh Wise beat out big names in the voting poll and won his way into the All-Star Race.

Stewart-Haas Racing's Danica Patrick won her second Sprint Fan vote; her first one came in 2013.
