Carl Edwards, Championship 4 Sprint Cup driver of No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota on his love of sponsor Subway:

'Yes, I do have a Subway card. It's black. It's awesome. It's so great. But I did bicycle to Subway the other day. I was biking, halfway through my ride, my plan was to eat at Subway ... and I didn't have any money, and the people didn't know who I was. So they were really reluctant to (give me a sandwich). I was like, 'I just want the black forest egg and ham breakfast sandwich, that's it. I swear I'll pay next time I'm by here.' They're like, 'Fine, OK.'

'So they gave me a sandwich. So bicycles eat free at Subways every once in a while?

I don't know if I've gone and given the money back. I haven't. I asked somebody else to. I don't know if they have. It's like confessional here.'

Jimmie Johnson, Championship 4 Sprint Cup driver of No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet on sharing a ride with Tony Stewart:

'I get on his airplane and there are two greyhound dogs. We get up in the air, he cuts up two filet mignons, which I think probably are our meals ... and he feeds the dogs. And he reaches into a Burger King bag and throws me a Whopper. I thought, 'All right, this is interesting.' '

Joey Logano, Championship 4 Sprint Cup driver of No. 22 Team Penske Ford on what he's learned from losing a championship:

'It kind of sucks. When I was up here a couple of years ago and I got a question about the people that say you have to lose one to win one and I thought that was the biggest line of B.S. I've ever heard in my life and I didn't like that statement. I don't believe that you have to lose one to win one, but I do believe you learn a lot by going through the experience once and going through this actual format once.'

Kyle Busch, Championship 4 Sprint Cup driver of No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota on life after a championship:

'It just gave us a greater sense of belief in ourselves and our team and confidence in being able to go out there and do it again. You know, there's no reason to think that what we accomplished last year is a one-time thing. We feel we're just as good last year if not better and performed better throughout this Chase in order to get ourselves in the position we're in.'

Erik Jones, Championship 4 XFINITY Series driver of No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota on trying to win an XFINITY title one year after winning the Camping World Truck title:

'It would be a big deal for me to go to Homestead two years in a row and win championships in two different series. It's pretty neat honestly to be at Homestead with another shot to win a championship again. That's not something that a lot of guys get a chance to do, whether it's in the same series or not.'

Timothy Peters, Championship 4 Camping World Truck Series driver of No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota:

'If we overthink it, then you may not execute. You may make mistakes. I've just been taking it easy. I helped my mom dig up her septic tank on Tuesday, so just relaxing. I know probably isn't something that you guys want to hear.'

Matt Crafton, Championship 4 Camping World Truck Series driver of No. 88 ThorSport Racing Toyota:

'At the end of the day, we're going to race this race just like we've raced any of them. If you go out there and win the race, you'll win the thing. If you look in your rear view mirror and look at who's in front of you, you are going to drive yourself crazy.'

Christopher Bell, Championship 4 Camping World Truck Series driver of No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota:

'Do I consider myself the underdog? No. Does everybody else? Probably.'

Adam Stevens, crew chief for Kyle Busch's No. 18 team, on defending the Sprint Cup Championship:

'Back-to-back or once every 10 years or however often you can find yourself in this opportunity with a shot to win is colossal.'

Dave Rogers, crew chief for Carl Edwards' No. 19 team:

'I guess that's the beauty of it. Adam (Stevens, No. 18 crew chief) and I, neither one of us drive the race cars. That's settled on the race track, and that's the way we want it. Everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing would love to see Kyle and Carl duking it out at the end for the win.'

Todd Gordon, crew chief for Joey Logano's No. 22 team, on short pitting:

'You saw it at Texas. Actually I feel like we got beat by it ... Definitely burned into my memory that we need to be aggressive on the short pit cycle of what happens this weekend.'

Chad Knaus, crew chief for Jimmie Johnson's No. 48 team, on chasing a seventh Sprint Cup championship:

'What's really cool about it is if we were able to pull this off, it would be seven titles with the same driver, same crew chief, same sponsor and same team, which would be even more phenomenal.'
