Chase Elliott Foundation “Desi9n to Drive” racing shoes

For the second consecutive year, the Chase Elliott Foundation will kick off a charity initiative in his home state of Georgia. This weekend, Elliott and his Hendrick Motorsports teammates will wear Alpinestars racing shoes designed by young patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

The four drivers will use the shoes in this weekend's NASCAR events at Atlanta Motor Speedway. With help from The NASCAR Foundation, the autographed footwear will be auctioned off with proceeds to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Hendrick Motorsports drivers each selected their favorite designs, with Elliott choosing two pairs of shoes for the weekend. This nautical-themed pair was designed by Emma Anderson, age 7.

Chase Elliott also will wear these shoes -- designed by Reese Whitaker, 10 -- in the No. 9 Chevrolet this weekend at Atlanta.

Alex Bowman, driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet, will wear shoes designed by 10-year-old Lucas Hunter.

William Byron will wheel the No. 24 Chevy, sporting these shoes featuring an illustration by Hyde Talbot, age 11.

Jimmie Johnson will suit up for driving duty in the No. 48 Chevrolet with shoes designed by Lucy Pittman, 12.
