In 207 NASCAR premier series starts, Alan Kulwicki earned the championship in 1992 and recorded five wins, 24 poles, 38 top fives and 75 top-10 finishes. He was known for his engineering ingenuity. He died tragically in a 1993 airplane crash.

Jack Roush has earned five car owners championships in NASCAR's three national series, including 137 wins as a car owner in both the Monster Energy Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. At the time of his induction, Roush had 324 total wins in NASCAR's three national series. His drivers have won an additional three driver championships.
