Three of the last four Pocono winners have started from inside the top four. Does the Pocono winner start from inside the top two rows?
Steve Luvender: YES. C'mon, it's simple: the fastest car starts up front. The fastest car always wins the race -- every single time. There are few absolutes in racing, but this is one of them.
NASCARCASM: NO. We're way overdue for another wild animal to run out on track. A bear gonna run out there and demolish the front-runner's car but spare those back in the pack like bears are known to do. I seen it on NatGeo.

O/U 34.5 race points for Clint Bowyer
NASCARCASM: OVER. Pocono is where a driver like Clint Bowyer thrives. He has a short attention span, and has one less turn than usual to remember.
Steve Luvender: UNDER. You really think Mr. Party will thrive on the race three days after his 40th birthday? The celebration won't even be over once Sunday rolls around.

Toyota has won the last three Pocono races. Does this streak continue?
NASCARCASM: YES. They should call it "Pocoyota." Ha. I combined two words in a very clever manner.
Steve Luvender: NO. The streak will end at three. And after the race, we'll ask the Toyota teams, "What win 4?"

O/U 15.5 lead changes
Steve Luvender: OVER: Will there be fewer than 16 passes for the lead? Poco-NO way. Sorry, I had to. I'm attempting a new approach with wordplay this race weekend. Yeah, the TRY-angle. I apologize profusely that you had to read this.
NASCARCASM: UNDER. There is one less turn to complete a pass. Or one fewer turn. Whichever one is correct is my point.

Which driver scores more race points at Pocono?
NASCARCASM: PAUL MENARD. Ryan Newman never lets anyone pass him, but the problem with Paul is that he approaches by stealth and you never hear him coming. So if he has to get by Newman, he can.
Steve Luvender: RYAN NEWMAN. Newman's crew chief, Scott Graves, nearly won the last Pocono race from the pole with Daniel Suarez, who led 29 laps and finished second. The man knows how to get around a 2.5-mile triangle.

O/U 12.5 stage points for Chase Elliott
NASCARCASM: OVER. The "why" is unimportant, and we should instead concentrate on how exactly someone scores a half point.
Steve Luvender: UNDER. They don't ring the Dawsonville Pool Room siren when Chase wins a stage, do they?

Which two-car team will have the best finish at Pocono?
NASCARCASM: JTG. If we go by the Martin Truex Jr. Geographic Determination Algorithm, Pocono Raceway is Connecticut-born Ryan Preece's home track.
Steve Luvender: RCR. The track is three turns, and Austin Dillon's car number is literally 3. It's almost too obvious. By this math, the JTG No. 37 and No. 47 should look pretty good in a few weeks at the winding Sonoma road course, however.

O/U 2.5 drivers lead over 35 laps
Steve Luvender: OVER. And by over 2.5, I mean 3 -- because there are three drivers this season with three wins. It's time to crown a new Big Three class, baby!
NASCARCASM: UNDER. And how do we get half a driver unless Tyler Reddick is entered.

Jimmie Johnson is tied for the most top-10 finishes at Pocono among active drivers with 20. Does he finish in the top 10 on Sunday?
NASCARCASM: YES. Whatever it is, I always say "Yes, Jimmie can do it." Forever stanning Jimmie, I don't care.
Steve Luvender: NO. For years when the No. 48 team went on something like a six-race winless streak people have asked, "Is this the end for Jimmie?" Sure, he hasn't won in 72 races, but I'm convinced this is by design. He wants people to think he's in a major slump -- then, BOOM, confetti. He'll be back, but it won't be this weekend because he wants everybody to count him out.

O/U 24.5 lead lap finishers
NASCARCASM: OVER. But going back to the first slide, it all depends on how angry that bear gets and how many cars it swats into the woods.
Steve Luvender: UNDER. The angry bear will do its best to help out its favorite driver.
