A trio of wins, 13 top fives and 19 top 10s was the outcome of a solid campaign for Keselowski -- only trailing each of the Championship 4 in the win column. He also started on the Busch Pole three times, his most since 2015.

Keslowski spent many races at the front of the pack, leading over 1,000 laps for the third time in his career. His 10.6 percentage of laps led was only bested by Martin Truex Jr. (13.4) and Kyle Busch (15.4).

His second career win at the track locked the Team Penske driver into the NASCAR Playoffs, which he has made every year under the current format.

Perhaps his most thrilling finish of the year came at Kansas in May, after a late caution sent the race into overtime. Keselowski outpaced Alex Bowman in the two-lap shootout, dedicating his emotional 30th Cup Series win to former Gander Outdoors truck owner, Mike Mittler.

After being involved in the playoff crash at Talladega, Keselowski needed a solid finish at Kansas to advance to the next round. Restarting 13th in a second overtime, slight contact with the wall caused him to lose six spots and ended his quest for a second series title.
