Projecting the 16-driver NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs field isn't an exact science, but we put some numbers behind it. Fifteen NASCAR.com staff members submitted individual ballots predicting the playoff field, in order of confidence. Points were awarded, from 16 points for the driver predicted to be the top seed down to one point for the driver predicted to be the 16th seed. Points were added, results were tabulated, a field was created.
