What happens when NASCAR's stars take to the virtual track? We finally have the answer, and it was a lot more Timmy Hill and Garrett Smithley than we expected. In honor of Denny Hamlin's No. 11 taking the checkered flag, here are 11 of our favorite GIFs to come out of the FS1 broadcast of Sunday's first-ever eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

No. 11: Oh, they brought in the pros! Defending eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series champion Zack Novak gives the command to fire virtual engines.

No. 10: Green flag -- we're racing! We're as enthused as the flagger.

No. 9: It wasn't the best showing for Jimmie Johnson. He seems just a bit more comfortable behind the wheel of an actual race car. We'll give him credit; he's learning. And he certainly increased the average number of NASCAR Cup Series championships in the field.

No. 8: Damage for Ross Chastain's Wienermobile after contact with William Byron, who's done this iRacing thing a time or two before.

No. 7: Without a spotter perched high above the track telling Kyle Busch to back it down, well ... you can see what happens.

No. 6: When you're stopped at a stoplight and look over and see your buddy in the car next to you.

No. 5: Contact between Bubba Wallace and Chase Elliott. That might put a little strain on the friendship.

No. 4: Contact for the Busch brothers! This collision of Monster and M&M's is like making a convenience-store stop on a road trip.

No. 3: We're super impressed not only by this save by Erik Jones, but also by everybody who dodged a spinning-pixel Camry.

No. 2: "Taco, Denny?"
No, Michael. Not again!
No, Michael. Not again!

No. 1: NASCAR's Steve O'Donnell sent (not really) track security to Denny Hamlin's car after a last-lap door-bang against Dale Earnhardt Jr., who did a heck of a job to keep control of his car and still bring it home second. It's the best finish we've seen all weekend.
