10. No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota
Driver: Martin Truex Jr.
Notable stop: 12.67 seconds, Lap 121 at Las Vegas (green flag, four tires)
Comment: Determined to make amends for a championship blunder last fall, Truex's No. 19 group has gotten off to a strong start in 2020, with four sub-13-second stops thus far under new crew chief James Small.

9. No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet
Driver: Jimmie Johnson
Notable stop: 12.58 seconds, Lap 90 at Fontana (green flag, four tires)
Comment: Johnson led 10 laps and finished seventh at Fontana, with a significant amount of help from his pit crew, which put together two of its three fastest stops of the season (12.58 and 12.6 seconds).

8. No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford
Driver: Clint Bowyer

7. No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet
Driver: Alex Bowman
Notable stop: 12.49 seconds, Lap 160 at Fontana (green flag, four tires)
Comment: Bowman had the car to beat at Fontana, for sure, but strong work from his pit crew's best race of the season helped him secure win No. 1 of 2020.

6. No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet
Driver: Chase Elliott
Notable stop: 12.38 seconds, Lap 82 at Las Vegas (yellow flag, four tires)
Comment: Elliott's crew put together a blazing-fast stop at Vegas from the lead during a caution, one of the best in the series this season. If it intends to be a championship-caliber crew, however, it'll need to clean up green flag stops -- the best the crew has mustered has been a paltry 13.3 seconds.

5. No. 12 Team Penske Ford
Driver: Ryan Blaney
Notable stop: 12.28 seconds at Phoenix (Lap 59, yellow flag)
Comment: Joey Logano might have won the race (more on that in a moment) but Blaney's crew actually had a slightly faster stop earlier in the afternoon for its best showing of the season. Expect this group to continue to provide strong efforts under the tutelage of Todd Gordon.

4. No. 22 Team Penske Ford
Driver: Joey Logano
Notable stop: 12.29 seconds (twice; Laps 215, 254) at Phoenix (yellow flag, four tires)
Comment: Logano's crew is already in title-contending form, snapping together a pair of race-winning stops at Phoenix, the 2018 champ's second win of the season. Their next three fastest stops all occurred at Vegas (12.6, 12.68 and 12.69) -- a race also won by Logano.

3. No. 1 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet
Driver: Kurt Busch
Notable stop: 12.19 seconds, Lap 215 at Phoenix (yellow flag, four tires)
Comment: Busch is a championship-caliber driver (see: 2004 season) and his No. 1 crew is meeting him on his level thus far in 2020. The group has been consistent and lights out thus far, with seven sub-13 second stops, led by that barnburner in the desert.

2. No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota
Driver: Kyle Busch
Notable stop: 12.29 seconds, Lap 120 at Las Vegas (green flag, four tires)
Comment: As to be expected, Busch and crew chief Adam Stevens have put together one of the strongest groups on pit road capable of putting the two-time champ in position to win any time, anywhere. The defending title-winner has enjoyed 11 sub-13 second stops, with a best showing of 12.19 seconds during a yellow flag stop at Vegas.

1. No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford
Driver: Kevin Harvick
Notable stop: 11.99, Lap 254 at Phoenix (yellow flag, four tires)
Comment: True to form, Harvick's pit crew remains one of the strongest in the series as has been the case for much of the past half decade. The group has put together the only two sub-12 second, four-tire stops of 2020 -- one at Auto Club and the latter at Phoenix, to preserve a late lead. With stops like these, expect Harvick to once again ride to the Championship 4.
