Race 1: Daytona International Speedway
Winner: Grant Enfinger won by a mere .01 seconds over a hard-charging Jordan Anderson, who Enfinger bumped on the last lap to steal momentum toward the start-finish line. The victory marked Enfinger's third in the series; it was his first at the 2.5-mile superspeedway, where he also captured a stage win for a playoff point. Enfinger led a race-high 41 of 106 laps to end a 28-race winless streak.
Notable: Anderson's runner-up showing went down as his first top-five finish in 102 Gander Truck Series career starts at the time. ... Riley Herbst won Stage 1. ... Ben Rhodes led 13 laps and held the front spot with four laps to go in regulation. Enfinger then passed him, and before Rhodes could try to take the lead back, he got caught up in a massive crash on Lap 99 of 100 that ultimately left him 25th on the final results. ... The season-opener featured three wrecks of nine trucks or more, the last of which forced the overtime.

Race 2: Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Winner: Reigning Cup Series champion Kyle Busch came down to win his seventh straight race in the Gander Truck Series, marking his 57th victory on the circuit overall. He had a 5.958-second margin of victory over Johnny Sauter. Busch led a race-high 108 of 134 laps and won both stages.
Notable: Sheldon Creed gave Busch a battle on consecutive restarts in the final stage. After five laps on the last one, though, Busch was a goner. Creed led eight laps and finished 10th. ... Busch's dominant win sparked the "bounty." After the race, Kevin Harvick turned to Twitter and offered up $50,000 to any full-time Cup Series driver who beat Busch in a Gander Truck race this year. Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis then matched that price to bring the total to an even $100,000. Nobody has cashed in on the prize yet, considering the season's pause.
