As we mentioned, it was a hot, humid day, and Bubba Wallace was trying to recover outside his car after the race. Wallace was treated and released from the infield care center.

Martin Truex Jr. had the car to beat early as the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota finished first in the opening two stages. Those were Truex's first stage wins of the season.
