William Byron 2020 paint schemes in review

For the NASCAR Playoffs races at Talladega Superspeedway, Charlotte and Kansas Speedway, Byron paid tribute to the late Ricky Hendrick with a similar paint scheme he drove in both the Camping World Truck Series and the Xfinity Series. Brian Vickers also piloted the scheme when he won the 2003 Xfinity Series championship.

Hertz was the primary sponsor for Byron for the Phoenix Raceway spring race.

Axalta and Liberty University were on the No. 24 Chevrolet for the All-Star Race that featured a new-look paint scheme for sponsor and number placement.

Liberty University and the No. 24 team honored seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson by running his 2013 NASCAR All-Star Race paint scheme.

Liberty University also had two special paint schemes in 2020 with the first coming at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a patriotic look in the Coca-Cola 600.

The Liberty University standard paint scheme was on Byron's car for 10 races, including when he scored his first career win in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona. The paint scheme also was featured in the non-points paying Busch Clash at Daytona.

Axalta paid tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant and the eight victims of the tragic Jan. 26, 2020 helicopter accident in California with a special purple and gold paint scheme on Byron's No. 24 Chevrolet.

The No. 24 Chevrolet sported the standard Axalta paint scheme in 19 races, starting with the second race of the season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

William Byron kicked off the season by driving the Axalta "Color of the Year - Sea Glass" paint scheme at Daytona International Speedway in the Daytona 500.
