Kevin Harvick finished fifth in the NASCAR Cup Series standings after making the playoffs for the 11th consecutive season and 14th overall.

Harvick led the series with nine wins in 2020 and has won at least one race for 11 consecutive seasons.

Along with his win total, Harvick also topped the series in top fives (20), top 10s (27), laps led (1,531) and fastest laps run (862).

Harvick's win at Pocono Raceway on June 27 started a streak of nine consecutive top fives that ended with a sweep of the weekend at Michigan International Speedway on Aug. 9.

Harvick won both stages and the race in the opener at Michigan and the second race at Dover International Speedway on Aug. 23. Overall, Harvick posted seven stage wins and ranked fifth in stage points with 290. The win at Dover marked the 700th for Ford in the Cup Series.

Seven wins in the first 26 races propelled Harvick to the regular season title. He entered the postseason with a record 57 playoff points.

Harvick started the playoffs strong with four consecutive top 10s and bookended the Round of 16 with wins at Darlington Raceway and Bristol Motor Speedway.

After respective finishes of 16th and 17th at Texas Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway, Harvick missed advancing to his fourth consecutive appearance in the Championship 4 by eight points.

Harvick: "We won nine races, had a great year, and, like I said, the championship is kind of a bonus. It would be great to win it, obviously, but I’d rather go through the year and win races and do the things that we did and just came up short."
