First look: Ally/Charlotte FC co-branded No. 48 Chevrolet for Charlotte Roval race

The No. 48 Chevrolet driven by Alex Bowman will be co-branded for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Round of 12 elimination race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval on Oct. 10. Ally, which is a founding and lead partner of Charlotte FC -- will share the paint scheme with the expansion MLS franchise that makes its debut in 2022. Ally has put together a video series on social media titled "Unexpected Allies" that features Bowman and Charlotte FC defender Christian Fuchs. The two got together a few months ago at Hendrick and brought together members of the No. 48 team with the Charlotte FC program.

Of the paint scheme, Alex Bowman said: "I am really excited to have the Charlotte FC program on the car for the Roval. It was really cool to meet Christian and show him the No. 48 Ally Chevrolet. We even got him in the pit practice car, which was a cool thing for him to be a part of. I haven’t ever been to a soccer game in a big stadium, so I might have to change that after this. It is a cool program that Ally has with two sports coming together for one major event."
