Bio
Dean Thompson returns to Sam Hunt Racing in 2026 for a second full-time NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season, driving the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra. In 2025, he earned eight top 10s and finished 16th in points. The Anaheim, California native recently piloted the No. 5 Tricon Garage Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series from 2023-24. Thompson's first full-time season in NASCAR came in 2022 as a member of Niece Motorsports in the Truck Series.
