Both Ryan Blaney and Martin Truex Jr. are winless in points-paying races so far during the Next Gen era.

Blaney's last win came 56 races ago at Daytona International Speedway in August 2021, while Truex's last trip to Victory Lane came two weeks after Blaney's at Richmond in September 2021.

Both drivers currently sit inside the top 10 in the Cup Series standings through 10 races in 2023, and while Blaney and Truex are in positions to reach the playoffs, scroll through to see where they can finally end their respective droughts.

Right off the bat, Truex can get back to Victory Lane Monday at Dover Motor Speedway (Noon ET, FS1). He's currently matched with Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch for the most wins by active drivers at the "Monster Mile." One also can't forget that Truex's maiden Cup win came at the 1-mile concrete oval in 2007.

Since 2016, there may not be a driver better than the 2017 Cup Series champ at the home track of most NASCAR teams. Truex has scored bragging rights over his competition in two Coca-Cola 600s, leading all but eight laps in the 2016 edition. Truex scored top-five finishes in every Coke 600 between 2015-2019, and he will certainly be a favorite when Memorial Day weekend rolls around at the end of May.

As his career progressed, Truex developed a knack for winning at road courses and short tracks. In 2013, Truex snapped a six-year winless drought in the Bay Area and scored back-to-back wins on the California road course in 2018 and 2019.

Stats:
1 win
4 top fives
5 top 10s
Avg. finish: 11.6

Blaney's skills at superspeedway racing are among the elite in NASCAR's premier series, and he's proving that in 2023 with top-10 finishes at Daytona, Atlanta and Talladega already.

July's Atlanta race is a great chance for the No. 12 to return to Victory Lane, provided Blaney hasn't already reached Victory Lane.

6 top 10s
Avg. finish: 13.1

Like Truex at Dover, Blaney's first career Cup Series win came in a thrilling battle at the "Tricky Triangle" in 2017 against Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick.

Blaney hasn't been able to find the checkered flag in Long Pond since then, but the track remains one of his best.

RYAN BLANEY - MICHIGAN

Stats:
1 win
5 top fives
7 top 10s
Avg. finish: 14.5

A recent winner at Michigan, if the No. 12 needs a 'Hail Mary' in the final month of the regular season, Michigan would be the safer bet over a potential desperation race in the regular-season finale at Daytona three weeks later. Blaney owns top-five finishes in three of the last four races in the Irish Hills.

While not victorious in points-paying races, Blaney and Truex are the most recent winners of speciality events, with Truex winning the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum in February and Blaney winning last year's All-Star Race at Texas Motor Speedway. Both should be among the favorites to take the checkered flag at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 21 with Blaney and Truex having success at short tracks, though a win for either wouldn't qualify them for the playoffs.
