The Verizon 200 at the Brickyard will mark the 3rd time the NASCAR Cup Series has raced on the road course.  After using the oval layout since 1994, in 2021 the Cup Series switched to the 2.4 mile road course.  Indianapolis Motor Speedway opened in 1909, and has been the host of the Road Course race for the last three years. The course features 14 turns, and most notably a hard right hand turn 1 that leads to exciting restarts.
