Behind the scenes: Joe Gibbs Racing 2024 Xfinity Series lineup reveal

Joe Gibbs Racing introduced a revamped NASCAR Xfinity Series lineup for 2024 on Wednesday, anchored by longtime Cup Series veteran Aric Almirola and welcoming newcomer Sheldon Creed, among others. Aric Almirola chats with NBC Sports reporter Kim Coon about NASCAR. 

Almirola will pilot the No. 20 Toyota.

Almirola shares a chat with Creed, who finished seventh in the NXS standings in 2023.

Creed will pilot the No. 18 Toyota.

Creed and Coon share a laugh with fellow JGR newcomer Chandler Smith.

Smith picked up the first NXS victory of his career in 2023 as a member of Kaulig Racing.

Smith will pilot the No. 81 Toyota.

Wiliam Sawalich burst onto the scene in 2023, claiming the ARCA Menards Series East title with four wins and eight top fives in eight races. 

He also made six Craftsman Truck Series starts, picking up three top 10s.

Sawalich will drive the No. 19 Toyota.

Sawalich looks on with another newcomer in Taylor Gray.

Gray has made starts in the Craftsman Truck Series each of the past three years, hitting 20 total in 2023.

Gray will also drive the No. 19 Toyota.

After turning in three top 10s in 2023, Joe Graf Jr. returns to the fold in 2024. 

Graf Jr. will additionally pilot the No. 19 Toyota.

He looks on with fellow returner Ryan Truex, who picked up his first win in spring 2023 at Dover Motor Speedway.

Lastly, Truex will drive the No. 19 Toyota.
